The Tinder Swindler: A Movie That Moves

In “The Tinder Swindler,” Norwegian Cecilie tells of how she met a charming man on the well-known dating app Tinder who pretends to be the son of a diamond billionaire. She loses her heart… and a lot of money quickly. Other women like the Swede Pernilla fall for the scammer. But they fight back.

The documentary should also have struck a chord with a large Netflix audience because the story of the betrayed women can be emotionally gripping in a variety of ways – and the ending also causes a lot of discussions and plenty of anger.
