You will need:
A tablespoon of baking soda
3 cups of lukewarm water
3 tablespoons of fabric softener
Instructions:
- Pour the fabric softener in an empty spray bottle.
- Pour water and baking soda.
- Close the bottle and shake it well. That’s it, a wonderful home fragrance mixture is born. Spray all around your home. Another good quality of this mixture is that it stays longer.

When I empty a bottle of fabric softener I leave a very small amount in the bottle, add water then pour into an empty spray bottle. I use this all around the home, in my vehicles and when I need a quick refreshing body spray I spray on myself and clothes.
I’ve been doing this for years!! I use liquid April fresh downy (or blue suavitel if I’m (extra) watching my $$. Spray on anything fabric. Curtains, rugs, clothes in closet, couches, throws, shower curtain. Also pour a tad bit if downy in your toilet tank! EVERYONE COMPLIMENTS MY WONDERFUL SMELLING HOME. I DO THIS AS A HOUSEKEEPER AND ITS A HUGE HIT
She means those pearls that gets put in the washing machine use some of them water and baking soda
I think she means lavender sauvital.. I’ve seen it in in the aisles..Sauvital is the brand of softner.

That’s crystalline fabric softener goes by the name ”Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze;. You can use any good fabric softener though.

Both me and a friend tried this and I guess the baking soda (white) was everywhere. I followed directions. I was cleaning up for days it was on everything

I’ve tried this twice and both times the baking soda clogs the nozzle on the spray bottle. I’m going to try it without it next time. I also have 7 dogs and 3 cats but I’ve been finding ways to make it better on here
I have a cleaning business and have been doing this in my clients home for a couple of years now and my own also but I dont put banking soda in it… What is the banking soda for? I use the lavender Swival(im not sure of i spelled correctly) im addicted to it..smells amazing.. Thanks for sharing!
What is Lavender Swival? I have never heard of it. I also saw on another post of using the baking soda they heated the water to a boiling then put in the baking soda so that it dissolved all the way. I think I will try that instead of just putting the baking soda in. Might work better. And baking soda is a good additive because it does help eliminate order. Have A Good Day! Thanks for Your Help! Could be Sauvitel. It’s found with other fabric softeners. I’ve heard though, that stuff can be dangerous for kids and pets.

Fabric softener is the liquid used when washing clothes to soften the fabric. You can get it from any utility store.
